This page explains what information Chintan Engineers (“we”, “us”) collects through chintanengineers.in and how we use it.

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry form on this site, we collect your name and phone number (required), and, where you provide them, your email address, company name, the product and quantity you’re asking about, and your message. Submitting a form also requires ticking a consent checkbox.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations, and follow up by phone, WhatsApp or email. Enquiries are emailed to our sales team and recorded in our internal customer-relationship system.

Information collected automatically

When you submit a form, we also record a hashed (non-reversible) version of your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, and the page you submitted from. This is used only to filter spam and abuse, not to identify you personally.

We use Google Analytics (via Google Site Kit) to understand how visitors use this site, and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Both record anonymised, aggregate events such as form submissions, phone-number clicks, WhatsApp clicks and datasheet downloads — not the content of what you typed. These services may set cookies in your browser; see Google’s own privacy policy for how Google handles that data. We do not currently show a cookie-consent banner.

WhatsApp and Google Maps

“WhatsApp” links on this site simply open a chat with our number in WhatsApp; we don’t receive any data back from that click beyond the analytics event above. “Directions” links open Google Maps in a new tab; we do not embed Google Maps on this site and don’t receive any data from that click either.

Who we share information with

We don’t sell your information. Enquiry details are shared only with: our own sales team; our customer-relationship management system, used to track and follow up on enquiries; and Google, through the analytics and advertising services described above.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as they’re useful to our ongoing business relationship with you, or as required for our own record-keeping.
