The Requirement

TKIL Industries Pvt. Ltd. (formerly thyssenkrupp Industries India Pvt. Ltd.), a prominent engineering and manufacturing entity based in Hyderabad, required a specialized fuel distribution solution for their facility. The project demanded a diesel dispensing system located at their DG room to service vehicles and generators. A critical requirement was the implementation of a secure tracking mechanism to monitor fuel consumption accurately. The client needed a system capable of recording specific data points for every transaction—including User ID, vehicle number, date, time, and the exact quantity dispensed—to ensure accountability and streamline department-wise fuel monitoring.

The Solution Supplied

To meet these precise specifications, Chintan Engineers supplied the Diesel Dispenser Model CE-204. This 220V AC unit was customized with an advanced RFID management system and included seven RFID cards for authorized users.

The complete setup featured:

  • Model: CE-204 Diesel Dispenser with RFID integration.
  • Accessories: A heavy-duty 12-meter delivery hose (25mm) and a suitable suction hose for extended reach.
  • Automation: The system requires dual authentication or card scanning to dispense fuel, ensuring that every drop is accounted for.
  • Data Logging: The dispenser display and system were configured to log essential transaction details such as the specific user, vehicle ID, and consumption volume.

Project Outcome

The implementation of the RFID-enabled diesel dispenser has significantly enhanced fuel security at the TKIL Industries facility. By restricting access to authorized personnel via RFID cards, the client has eliminated unauthorized fuel withdrawal. The automated data logging provides the maintenance department with granular reports on fleet and generator fuel usage, facilitating precise inventory reconciliation. This solution has successfully automated the tracking of diesel distribution, reducing manual errors and improving overall operational efficiency in the DG room.
